Published fieldwork

The byline is tied to a visible record.

Reputation can put a hotel on the shortlist; it cannot settle the verdict. In field-tested reports, Maro Choi separates what was experienced in the room, at breakfast, in the pool, and through service from what is known only through public sources. The purpose is simple: help a reader decide whether the rate is justified.

Each field record states the stay date, room category, funding status, and original evidence behind the byline.

    Southwest Grand Hotel

    Club Twin 703

The hotel provided a one-night stay for two adults, including breakfast and Club Lounge access. Dinner at A LONG VACATION. is documented separately because it fell outside the confirmed hosted-stay package. All 270 published photographs are owned by SuiteVerdict; privacy-safe derivatives are used where needed.

How the verdict is built

The evidence and editorial rules are public.

We separate first-hand experience from public sources and disclose image rights and commercial support.

  1. 01

    First-hand scope

A field-tested verdict states the stay date, nights, room category, and facilities actually used. Untested details remain unverified.

  2. 02

    Funding and disclosure

Self-funded and hosted stays are identified beside the verdict. Support cannot change a score, remove criticism, or suppress alternatives.

  3. 03

    Evidence and image rights

Stay notes and owned photography support first-hand claims. Official material supports public facts only. Unlicensed hotel imagery is not used.

  4. 04

    Independent judgment

Hotels may correct verifiable factual or rights errors. They do not receive advance approval over scores, criticism, comparisons, or final wording.

  5. 05

    Language and corrections

English, Korean, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese pages are edited as distinct editions. Material corrections are dated and evidence-led.
